Mãe Querida Oh! Minha mãe. Quisera ser ainda uma criança Para poder ser conduzida no teu colo; Sentir o teu aroma, o teu amor, o teu sorriso e o teu calor. Mãe! Dias, meses e anos se passaram. Mas, para mim, tu és à minha maior joia, Aquela que não se transforma com o tempo. Porque tu és forte, forte como uma rocha, O tesouro que o mundo não pode dar ou vender e, Às vezes, entender. Mãe! Tu és a estrela que brilha dentro do meu coração. Dando-me a dose certa para viver. Mãe! O teu dia é todo momento, A tua imagem pode ter mudado com o tempo, Mas o teu amor tem sido cada vez maior. Mãe! Hoje, é que percebo melhor a realidade da vida; Porque o tempo, também, tem transformado à minha imagem. Mostrando-me a razão e o reflexo do futuro, De um futuro que poucos conseguem ver. Mãe!
